I named this scarf after one of my favorite wines, Barbaresco. The wine is named after a village in Piemonte.
Barbaresco wine, celebrated for centuries and praised by the ancient Roman author Livy, is crafted from 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown on the village's steep hills.
